On our fabulous day trip, you will enjoy some incredible Highland scenery. Today we will take you on a tour of Culloden Battlefield, and hear all about the Jacobite rebellion. The Battle of Culloden was the final confrontation of the Jacobite rising of 1745. On 16 April 1746, the Jacobite forces of Charles Edward Stuart were defeated by the Hanoverian troops commanded by William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.

After visiting Cawdor Castle, the romantic Highland castle, and the 14th-century home of the Thanes of Cawdor.

Finally, we will visit Clava Cairns, one of the most evocative prehistoric sites where sits the remains of an ancient cemetery, are set on a terrace above the River Nairn.

Scotland EURO 2024 Trip

Great trip to Euros 24, big thank you to Julia and the team and to Don as well. Travelled direct to Munich via charter flight from Inverness, with all accommodation also taken care off - fantastic trip all round (apart from the Scotland results!).

Great time had by us both,  nice hotels, friendly people and had a laugh with everyone on n the trip, memorable 

WE had a good trip, no issues with the flights and hotels. Good support from Julia and team in Inverness, and Don at site.   Match tickets did cause some anxiety but all were sorted in good time for the matches, so good work by Julia.

We had a fabulous time. Good company, great craic and memories to last a lifetime.
Organisation was spot in with no issues at all. Hotel in Munich was the best we stayed in but no issues with the others. 
I would definitely use the company for future adventures 

The accommodation was excellant and the whole trip was much more than we could have expected.
I can't think of any way the trip could have been improved apart from getting better results in the matches.

Had a great trip, SJ staff at airport for leaving and arriving back. Updates on a WhatsApp group appreciated. Hotels were fine especially the Hyperion👍 Would use and recommend SJ Travel for future trips even though I stay 2.5 hours away from Inverness 

I had a great time. Very clean, nice and comfortable room. The restaurant service was great. A hotel located in a stunning landscape with a very Calm environment.
